LA Galaxy star David Beckham is developing a revolutionary new range of football boots called 'Left Field' to encourage youngsters use boot feet.
Making footballers wear a lighter shoe or plimsol on the left foot has long been acknowledged as an effective way to train 'ambipeds.'
Now Beckham has entered the fray with the new boots which have been designed in conjunction with his wife, Victoria.
The right foot is encased in a heavy 1950s style boot, while the left wears an open toed platform sandal.
Victoria Beckham said: 'It's accepted that David isn't great with his left foot - or in the air or the tackle for that matter.'
A previous Beckham venture to encourage children to use a knife and fork properly went into receivership last month.
