CBS Sports had counted on making millions of dollars from the broadcast of Super Bowl XXXVIII but Carolina Panthers threw a monkey wrench into the plans of CBS.
It seems that the travel agency hired by the Panthers booked hotel reservation in New Oleans for the entire team. When contacted the Fly-by-Night travel agency would only comment that the Patriots always choose the Superdome to play in the Superbowl so why should this year be any different and besides it was easier to get hotel reservation there.
