image for Spitting llama escapes from Liverpool zoo and is arrested in Manchester!
Thank the heavens it wasn't a spitting camel, he would really have got the hump!!

An ex-Liverpudlian llama saw red on Saturday after breaking out of his cage in Liverpool Zoo along the Anfield Road. He was seen running towards a forbidden zone for Liverpudlian spitting llamas called Old Trafford, Manchester, where many strange animals from Liverpool have got stranded in the past.

After entering the East Lancs Road, cars drove past attempting to goad the thing into stopping, but sadly he ignored their warnings because when a 'Liverpool red Llama' sees red, especially the spitting kind, there is only one thing to do, spit and spit again!

Unfortunately, a car pulled up alongside the raging red beast, with non-spitting reds from Manchester sitting in it and, recognising the llama was on a losing battle, waved it to stop, and whilst attempting to calm the thing down, the Liverpool llama unleashed a mighty gob full of spit in their direction!

After running out of steam, the llama leapt over a crash barrier, hoping nobody would have seen it spit, but in this day and age of selfies and smartphones, the whole episode was caught on camera and went viral over the internet!

The llama was caught and took back to his cage in Liverpool where he will now be spending the rest of its sad life gobbing and spitting in anger at anybody from the Manchester area that dares visit Liverpool zoo.

A sign has been put up around its cage with the following sign:

"BEWARE OF THE LLAMA, ESPECIALLY THOSE DARING TO WEAR MANCHESTER UNITED SHIRTS IN LIVERPOOL, THIS LLAMA IS A BIG GOBBER AND CAN'T STAND LOSING!"

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
