Belichick Bets Infamous "Half-Sleeved Hoodie" on Championship Game

Funny story written by Ken Neely

Foxborough, MA - During Friday's post-practice interview, Patriot's head coach, Bill Belichick stated that he would "bet my hoodie that we take home the AFC championship this year." These are strong words from a reserved coach who has coached the New England Patriots to their fourth straight AFC championship game.

Belichick has been sporting the half-sleeved hoodie for over a decade, and many fans believe that his half-sleeved hoodies are good luck charms. Long time Patriots fan Mark McDougle told reporters that he "can't remember the Patriots before the hoodie." He then went on to add, "like the cross in Christianity, it's a symbol of our commitment and faith to the team."

It remains to be seen if Belichick will depart with his beloved hoodie. The Patriots will host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. It is the second time these two teams have faced off. The first time they met was in November when the Patriots triumphed over the Colts in a 42 - 20 victory.

In the mean time fans can bet on which color hoodie he will wear.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
