As positive news regarding Michael Schumacher's recovery is released, footage from the helmet of the former Formula One world champion has finally been recovered, with it clearly showing that Schumacher was racing another skier down the off piste slope, causing the near fatal crash.
The footage shows Michael and an unknown skier (wearing red, white and blue) were skiing parallel to one another at a similar speed when Michael inexplicably turned into the other skier, making him crash. This led to Michael's well-documented accident and left the unknown skier to go on injured, allegedly later having to retire to a medical facility. Police have attempted and failed to trace the unknown skier through hospital records and also by investigating documentation kept at lodges and hotels close to where the accident occurred.
As millions of Germans hope for a full recovery for one of Formula One's greatest drivers, this footage has once again brought the level of Michael's competitive nature into question. Other racing drivers have already commented through Twitter regarding the new footage.
J.Button - Weather was bracing, classic Schumacher racing :-(
A.Senna - Yep we've even got twitter here! #idneverdothat
Alonso - Nice to know of someone who raced in a fast Ferrari car. #whoishe
