Miami - NBA superstar and member of the Miami Heat basketball team, Lebron James, threatened to sit out the next season if LA Clippers owner, Donald Sterling, was not forced to sell the team after recent racist remarks made by Sterling. While he was at it, James made some additional demands as well.
First, Lebron insisted he get the lead role in the sequel to the movie 'Space Jam', if they ever make another one. Secondly, he wants the Milwaukee Bucks reclassified as a high school team after the pitiful season they had this year.
In addition, James asked for a spot on the Harlem Globetrotters when his NBA career ends. Finally, of course, he wants all American prisoners being held in foreign countries to be released and for a chopper to be waiting for him at the airport. He added that last part just to sound cool.
If his demands aren't met, James is adamant about not lacing up for next season. "I hate to withhold my talent from the world, but I'll do it if that old man doesn't walk away! I'm serious. I'll put all my focus and competitive spirit into something else, maybe scrapbooking, if they don't dump Sterling. It's in the NBA's hands now."
