LOS ANGELES - Magic Johnson, who used to be part owner of The Los Angeles Lakers, has lambasted the team he once played for and partially owned.
Johnson recently spoke with Rufus Reno of Sports Balls Illustrated Daily and told him that he is downright embarrassed at the play of the boys from LaLaLand who possess a losing record of 24-28.
He noted that he was especially embarrassed at the 116-95 drubbing that the guys in purple and gold received from the guys in leprechaun green and snow white, The Boston Celtics.
Johnson said that with the lackadaisical way that the Lakers played against the Bostonians they could have just as easily phoned it in.
The NBA Hall of Famer recently got into a heated argument with the number one Lakers fan Jack Nicholson.
Nicholson told Magic that he abandoned the Laker ship when he sold off his share in the roundball team and became part owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.
Johnson told Nicholson that he needed to concentrate on finding and reading movie scripts so that he can find another movie role quick before Tinsel Town stops calling him like they did with Harrison Ford.
SIDENOTE: Magic told Rufus Reno that if Kobe "The Player-Coach" Bryant keeps on criticizing his own players and being a bitter, angry, disruptive element in the Lakers locker room then team owner Jerry Buss should seriously consider either trading him to The lowly Charlotte Bobcats or else giving him a one-way ticket to Damascus, Syria.
