Outspoken kicker of Argentinian soccer players, banned Joey Barton, has got a taste of his own medicine in his home town called Liverpool. He was out clubbing (should have known better than to do it there!) in Liverpool after a stressful season at QPR fighting against relegation, homophobia and his own temper.
Innocently attempting to enjoy a bit of R & R he was attacked by a couple of Scouse thugs and they smacked him in the jaw hoping to shut him up; they failed.
Love him or leave him, joyful Joey is always good for a headline or two and now these 2 morons have given him plenty to jaw on about. Luckily he wasn't picked for England otherwise he would have gone on a personal crusade against Ukrainian and Polish racist hooligans and they would have had to transport him back to England with a Union Jack covering his coffin.
Joey now has time to contemplate his future during his 12 week ban and hopefully he will find a club in the world that will accomodate the Nr 2 self-appointed wild man of soccer after genius, Mario Balotelli, Nr 1. Maybe Argentinian's top club, Boca Juniors, will sign him; they love "True Brits" over there!
