Animal rights have promised to investigate a report of animal cruelty in the Norfolk area, after rumours on twitter of canaries being savaged by a group of rich playboys known as 'Man City'.
The group hail from Argentina, Italy, Holland and other locations around the world, but are based in Manchester.
A spokesman told this reporter "We are taking this matter very seriously. AS well as lots of tweets, we have had a personal visitor to our Dorking office, a local man, who said although he has never been to Manchester, he was extremely concerned that the playboys should be punished before they could cause any real damage in the next couple of weeks in the area".
In today's sport news Manchester City stormed back into the title race today hammering Norwich 6-1 at Carrow Road, with a hat-trick from Carlos Tevez, narrowing the gap at the top of the Premier League to just 2 points.
Manchester United face a tricky home game with Aston Villa tomorrow and the two Mancester clubs will meet on April 30th at the Etihad Stadium.
