Apple has announced a range of products designed especially for the people of Newcastle.
The 'Why i' range will be available in the near future with the launch of 'why itunes' a music site devoted entirely to geordie artists such as Cheryl Cole, Jimmy Nail, Paul Gascoigne and PJ & Duncan. These will shortly be followed by the 'Why iphone' and 'Why ipad'.
A spokesperson for Apple stated that with the recent furore over Cheryl Cole's accent in the US X Factor special niche products were needed to increase sales in the north west of England.
"We didn't know there were any other accents in the UK apart from cockney and that uptight way the royal family speak ." a US source claimed last night "It came as quite a shock. Even months later we still can't believe it."
When asked for a comment Cheryl Cole Said "It's aboot time there wus summat done, Ah'm sick of there bein nowt fur us Geordies, ya knaa. Gan on gissies a tab man, I'm gan doon toon to get off me nappa."
Apple has denied the launch of a range of apps simulating dogs and cats for the Geordie market claiming the 'Why ipet' is just a rumour.
