Microsoft's new accessory for the XBox, the Kinect, has been hacked to allow video streaming across the internet, to play live strip poker.
PokeHer, the on-line strip poker site, has been steadily gaining adherents as early adopters of the Kinect look for games that they can play.
"It's a simple software hack," said PokeHer boss, Olly Hoffs. "People can download the game for free from our website, and it allows the built in web cam on the Kinect to stream an image of themselves to our server."
At the other end of the server is a series of nubile female poker players, and PokeHer are actively recruiting more women for their headquarters to play against the increasing number of PokeHer players.
"Our staff play against eight customers at once," said Hoffs. "The centre of the screen shows our girl, and around the edge are the eight customers. Our girls cut people off from the game if they do not take off an item of clothing, so people can't cheat."
The PokeHer women are all expertly trained in playing poker before hand, in order that they win more often than not, and it is rare that the women get down to anything less than underwear.
"We've had a couple of players who've proven pretty good," said Hoffs. "They've come away winners, with our girls stripped right off. That's a treat for all those still in the game, and the winners take the pot."
Despite the chances of winning being very slim, it hasn't stopped hundreds of people paying the ten pound entry fee to each game each night.
"I've got to admit," said Hoffs, "even after the girls take their fifty percent cut of their winnings, I'm making a tidy profit off this. I love Kinect!"
