A mass migration of penguins has begun in the southern seas. This migration began last Tuesday but was only recognised yesterday when satellite images from Space recorded their activities on Saturday. It is believed that this migration will include all penguins in the Southern hemisphere and they are believed to be headed in the direction of Sweden, maybe Norway, and possibly Russia, but no one is entirely sure.
They are predicted to pass through Britain and Northern Ireland probably on Friday. Warnings have been issued that the Penguin migration has not to be hindered in any way. They are not British citizens and any attempt to keep one as a pet will be punished with a fine of £75,000.
Mass disruption is expected, and everyone is advised to stay at home on Friday due to the extreme numbers of penguins that will be passing through our towns and cities. People are advised to travel with care if they absolutely have to. Any attempt to hurry the penguins up in anyway by car-beeping will also be punished by a very big fine.
This is a once in a life time event believed to happen only once every 1000 years. Friday 16th of October will be renamed "National Penguin Day" and will forever after be marked with a Bank Holiday Friday. End of warning about the Penguin Migration.
