A Yorkshire woman's cat has amazed bored locals by befriending two mice down at the local church hall.
Pudsley the cat's owner, Mrs. Emily Worboise, 82, said that the animals have known each other for several years but, until recently, they had never been seen acting courteously to each other.
In fact, miraculously, ever since the death of Michael Jackson, the animals have seemingly put aside their differences and become firm friends.
"That King of Pop man talked about love between animals and I think the cat just decided it was time to put aside their differences of opinion and start to love", said Mrs. Worboise.
The old lady regularly played Jackson's albums in the village hall during cake sales. The cat seemed moved upon hearing "Earth Song" and "Heal the World" and was visibly moved to tears several times.
Ever since the memorial service, the cat has taken to sharing a bed with the mice - some even suggesting that the cat is in fact possessed by the spirit of the fallen star.
