Professor Hugh Jarse could hardly contain himself today when he revealed the surprising results from the LHC test firing on Wednesday.
"We have discovered quite by accident that a portal in the space time continuum that was created by the experiment remained stable for two hours. We were able in that time to send through a probe which sent back images of over two thousand odd socks and thousands of previously lost keys," said Professor Jarse.
"This is a major discovery as we believe that we have uncovered that mysterious portal that appears as soon as you misplace something. It could lead to less stupid statements like where did you last see it/them."
