Sources revealed yesterday that the department of defense is exploring the use of comic book technology as a viable alternative for the difficult and unconventional war on terror.
Sources high in the DOD stated that having seen the movies the top brass believe that a lot can be said about having a billionaire vigilante taking care of all the really tricky national security issues.
One general is quoted as saying "things are much easier when you don't have to answer to those pesky taxpayers, all we need now is a billionaire defense contractor with a conscience".
President Bush is said to be highly impressed with the concept and stated that if Hollywood can do it then so can the military.
Defense analysts remain unconvinced but figure if you throw enough money at it then the problem will solve itself.
