The Universe as we should now see it

Scientists in Chutney on the Fritz have proven that the known universe is only one square on a Rubik's Cube.

The Rubik's Cube, a toy for nerdy children in the 1980's was a six sided square that was a waste of plastic, time and effort, depleted the ozone layer, and made a few people very rich.

Scientist Roland Rivron Rolex III of Chutney on the Fritz said: 'We scientists always believed in the Saddle model for the universe, but these new findings take scientific discovery in a completely new direction. It is a very exciting time. It means that God does exist, because now we know God was a nerdy child in the 1980's. It does not prove much else though. For all we know, we could be just one square in a Rubik's cube that is gathering dust in a loft somewhere, or we could be taken out, shuffled around a bit, and then that would be the end of it for us.'

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
