This week, NASA released a photograph of what could be a living being on the surface of Mars. The picture was taken by one of the Mars Rovers. NASA officials claim that the "alien" is actually a two inch tall rock that was shaped by high winds and erosion.
Former Vice President Al Gore, however, claims that he invented Martians when he was a college student. "It was on summer break one year, after I came up with the idea for Caller I.D. and before I invented the internet. I was lying on the grass one night with some half naked and half-baked cheerleader, sorry Tipper, and we were watching the sky. The rest is history."
When told that the idea of life on Mars and Martians had existed for many years in Science Fiction, Gore was not upset or embarrassed. "Yeah, they may have thought about it, but did they do anything about it? If it were not for my time in the Senate and as Vice President of this country, NASA would never have found that little man."
"And what do you think that little Martian man is doing? He's flipping off the NASA rover car because it was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, which is the state that kept his creator from being President!"
