A website devoured by the mutants.

A large number of computer generated mongooses and merecats have been spread as a virus through emails. These are now making their homes in computers worldwide. Their burrows have now infested every major network in the world, and they have begun to breed.

They feed upon the computer viruses and useless files. Their nests are built in the gaps between items on the desktop and in the recycling bins.

However in recent weeks the friendly infestations have started to turn violent, eating web pages and word documents, and gnawing on the edges of emails.

It is thought that this species originated in Mac OS X where they began to eat apples, heartlessly poisoned with a computer virus. These then migrated back to their native homes in windows, where the virus took control.

These mutant creatures have begun to cause their chaos on civilised systems. To protect computers firewalls have begun to dispense poison to the creatures and have ended up killing the tame ones as well as the bestial ones.

What will result from this is unknown, but it is thought that computers will generally become slower and have less processor speed.

Whether this will be a large effect or simply a localised to older systems is unknown, but it is thought to be disastrous whatever the case.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
