The US government is currently interviewing for the role of a maverick scientist to save the world from the Ebola threat.
As cases of the deadly virus increase daily the US are concerned that they do not have anyone suitable to save the day.
"Whilst we've got some top scientists at the moment, none have that maverick, rebellious vibe that people expect of a hero" announced science spokesperson Mitchell Mackenzie.
"If a couple of nerdy types in a lab save the day then it would be a PR disaster."
Mr Mackenzie revealed the government are looking for a rugged, tough guy scientist who gets things done their own way.
The ideal candidate will have a beautiful ex-wife, also a scientist, to work alongside him in an atmosphere of sexual tension.
Other requirements include the ability to fly a helicopter and deliver witty quips. Experience with weapons is also essential.
