Cupertino, California - A full-screen sized hologram of Caller Identity Images will be popping up each time Apple's swish new all-bells-and-whistles iPhone 6 gets an incoming or makes an outgoing call.
And a new voice-over feature will see holographic images speak entire email contents including social network messages.
Also starring in Apple's brand new baby line-up is an up to six-at-a-time video conferencing facility with a spilt-screen overlay linking to multiple other iPhone users.
Great for keeping in touch or long-distance group phone sex.
Tuesday's launch of the new 5.5 inch $400 handset comes ahead of a rumored January 2015 launch of Apple's forthcoming holographic iTV.
The company's share price rose over a dollar on the announcement with Wall Street institutional investors piling in fast.
