HOUSTON - The Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center has just received word about a malfunction with the land rover Curiosity.
NASA spokesman Trent Timmelfarb told the news media that Curiosity's computer has sent back a message saying that its odometer is not working properly.
Curiosity stated that for some inexplicable reason the odometer is actually going backwards instead of forwards.
Timmelfarb assured the assembled press members that this is a little somewhat insignificant problem unless of course NASA was going to sell the land rover which it does not plan to do.
Meanwhile, NASA has stated that they have contacted one of the top odometer repairmen in the entire nation and he is going to sit at their main computer and talk to Curiosity and tell it what it has to do in order to fix the malfunction.
