One of the first cabbages that acquired the taste of filet mignon.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Waterloo Zottbergen has been growing cabbage for the past 29 years and in that time he has made a very good living out of it.

But he recently discovered a way to grow cabbage that tastes exactly like a filet mignon steak.

Zottbergen said that he came upon the process one day as he was making a cough elixir for his maiden Aunt Atha.

He remarked that somehow some of the elixir got into the cabbage seed bin and when the seeds sprouted he learned that he now had some fantastic tasting cabbage.

He immediately told one of the local meat markets about it and they worked out a deal to sell the cabbage in a display bin beside the various cuts of meat.

Zottbergen says that the meat market sales have gone through the roof and he is having a hard time keeping up with the demand.

SIDENOTE: Waterloo Zottbergen said that his wife of 27 years Hasseli is as happy as an anteater at an ant convention because now she has been able to take that trip to visit her twin sister who lives in Lima, Peru.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
