HOUSTON - The executives at NASA are thrilled due to the fact that they have just received a very generous donation from the patriarch of Duck Dynasty's Robertson family, Phil Robertson.
Phil told the press that the members of his family have always been fans of the NASA space program.
He commented that two years ago on his 65th birthday his wife Miss Kay gave him an electronic working toy model of The Space Shuttle Endeavour.
Phil said that he really enjoyed playing with that little toy until one day a sudden gust of wind came up and it slammed the Endeavour into a palm tree.
He said that when President Obama heard about the accident he immediately had NASA FedEx him a brand new larger Endeavour.
Robertson says he still has it and it is sitting on a dresser in his bedroom.
Phil said that due to that kind gesture by the president he has decided to donate $75,000 to The National Aeronautical Space Administration in the name of the Robertson clan.
