The big wigs at Facebook were preparing for a massive defection last night when a new rival called 'Hatebook' went live.
A spokesperson for the company explained last night "Facebook users have been asking for a 'dislike' button for so long and the CEO has refused to give it to them, so we have taken the idea and created a whole network of hate, rather than just a dislike. We're expecting a huge take up, it will be ideal for all the haters out there".
Pages have already been set up to 'hate' Piers Morgan and Ricky Gervais. More are expected in the coming days for George W Bush, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Russel Brand, The Royal Family, Kim Kardashian, every other Kardashian, Cher Lloyd, Lady Gaga, Bobby Brown and Chris Brown.
