Hear'Say tribute band No'Way wasn't very good either

"Hear'Say"? Who'they? You might well ask.

It seems that Hear'Say was a British pop group, a creation of Simon Cowell (kisses crucifix and crosses himself). They were created through the TV show Popstars in February 2001 and the group, a nondescript talentless bunch (personal opinion), signed to Polydor Records.

Hear'Say originally consisted of Danny Foster, Myleene Klass, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan, and the group achieved instant (if synthetic) fame, breaking chart records with their debut single "Pure and Simple" (self deprecation?) and the album Popstars. However, their second album failed to match this success.

In January 2002, Marsh left Hear'Say due to conflicts with Klass and Sullivan, and she was replaced by former Boom! member Johnny Shentall a month later, (Boom! anybody? No, me neither), which seemed to change the sexual dynamic.

During a summer promotional tour, Hear'Say was constantly harassed by members of the public, and "Lovin' Is Easy," the group's only single to be released with Shentall, failed to make a commercial impact. Hear'Say announced their split in October 2002, twenty months after their formation, citing "abuse from the public" who had obviously taken a dislike bordering on hatred to the band, as the main reason for their demise.

Apparently, since the dissolution of the band, the members have had individual success in acting, presenting, and singing, although the author's only recollection of any of them is Myleene in an M&S ad wearing skimpy undies.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
