Sick and Tired

I hate the "media". I am sick and tired of the fact that I cannot get the real news, without some new's media honcho's (or wienie journal-school jerk's or jerkett's) interpretation thereof. I hate the fact that I must conduct a daily search of right and left-leaning news sources, in order for me to somehow try to divine the truth there-between.

Just when did "why" become such a necessary ingredient in the who / what / when / where and how of a news story? What makes that so-called news reporter's(ette's)think that I care about his or her opinion?

I believe I speak for millions of Americans, and probably for civilization in general, when I say, (and as Sergeant Joe Friday use to say so effectively ) "Just the facts, mam!"

Just the facts! PLEASE!

A novel idea. Tell the story. Relate the facts (yes - as you see them), but PLEASE (NBC / NPR etc), forget the not-so-obscure and unacknowledged editorial commentary.

Just the facts! If I want political commentary, I will tune into a media outlet that is up front about the opinion content of their offering (e.g FoxNew's O'Reilly)). And if I want a source that not-so-clearly hides their agenda, I'll read the NY Times.

So please, STOP!. Stop the propaganda. I want, I demand objectivity. At least some attempt at it!. I deserve something better than this:
"News media outlet Associated Press (AP)chairman gushes over Obama"

And in a late breaking NPR news story, Mitt Romney calls for negative ad cease-fire.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
