The BBC are pulling out all the stops in their efforts to re-establish their reputation for producing cutting edge product for the TV.
The first in a series of thought provoking dramas is coming to the screen later this year in the shape of "The First Lesbian", which tells the story of the openly gay Anne Lister in the 1880's.
An unnamed source from the Beeb has revealed that other scheduled programmes in this groundbreaking series are -
The story of the first recorded case of multiple orgasms - The Second Coming
The tale of Adam's previously unknown youngest brother - The Third Man
Finally, the recently discovered sequel to the Lord of the Rings Trilogy - The Forth Bridge.
A mouth watering prospect indeed.
