The waiting is finally over for local man Seaton Carew.
The man, who had been waiting for four months to have his fate decided for him, was finally given that fate at approximately half past eleven on Friday 30th July when the three sitting magistrates found him guilty and passed sentence.
The guilty verdict came as no surprise to the patient local man, as this was his plea, however the sentence was, to some in the court room, somewhat of a shock.
After waiting for a further two hours, but knowing the answer would soon be arriving, Mr Carew waited, as he has become used to doing.
Not content with sentencing him to a 150 day prison sentence, suspended for twelve months, they also kindly informed him that he must complete 200 hours of unpaid community service, as opposed to the paid kind, and also pay four hundred pounds.
Depending on the nature of the community service, Carew, 41, has agreed to allow this publication unlimited access to every minute of the punishment.
