The wait was supposed to be over for local waiting man Seaton Carew last Friday when he had to wait a short wait hoping to be told his fate.
The fate for which he had to wait for so long.
But instead he spent the morning waiting.
He woke before the alarm and then waited for the alarm to sound. As always, he pressed the snooze button and waited again for the alarm. Once it had buzzed for a second time, Carew slowly got up and waited for the aches in his legs to subside, every day seeming to take slightly longer, making him wait more every day.
As usual Seaton Carew, 41, waited for the water to warm up before stepping into the shower and then dressed and went into the kitchen, turned on the kettle, and waited.
Due at his appointment at 10 o'clock, Carew waited until it was time to leave, not wanting to have to wait for too long once he arrived at his destination.
Arriving on time, Carew was forced to wait by the efficient woman in black before meeting yet another member of 'The Practice' who told him the wait may be coming to an end or it could be extended.
And so it came, the time to see The Three.
The Three at whose hands Seaton Carew's fate waited.
After being summoned and asked to stand, waiting, Carew waited.
Only to be told to wait three more weeks.......
