This past two months U of T students have been carrying out a variety of surveys on the streets of Toronto.
Data being collected covers such topics as, 'Opinions on Medical Health Services', 'Women's Issues', 'Discipline in Schools', 'Quality of care in Nursing Homes', 'The condition of our highyways', 'Canadian Welfare System' and 'The Immagration issue."
Part of the data collection included demographics of people surveyed. When all data was brought back to the University to be collated, one thing stood out. NONE OF THE PEOPLE SURVEYED WERE BORN IN CANADA. THEY WERE ALL IMMIGRANTS.
When asked why there were no Canadians surveyed, the student spokesperson answered,
We couldn't find any because they were all at work.
