Two England Qualifiers Shirts COULD be up for Sale. Genuine articles.

Funny story written by Lady Godiva

Saturday, 6 March 2010

I have 2, as yet, unworn, England Qualifier Shirts which I am 'thinking' of putting up for Sale, Having read in the Mirror today that Owen is 'out for the season' and Fergie's 'rather peed off at Rooney, who can't say NO', I'm left wondering if I'll ever get to wear either shirt now. I usually don a jersey whilst watching the EPL, World Cup, FA Cup, Carlin cup etc. games whilst living here in Canada. Sad to say, my Middlesbrough jersey is wrapped in mothballs. I hope it'll be coming out soon coz I hate the stink of mothballs.

Getting back to my NEW shirts:

My husband , dog bless his little bald head and beer belly (yes I mean dog) purchased two shirts for me as a surprise. He'd asked, without telling me why, what my 2 favourite numbers in soccer were....I thought he needed two more numbers for his Lotto Picks of the week. I said said Owen 10 and Rooney 9.

Imagine my delight when he presented BOTH to me. Now I am stuck with them. Mind you, the lads might still be representing England so I am not putting the shirts on e.Bay just yet.

Come to think of it my shirts will probably be worth MORE if Owen and Rooney DON'T play.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
