Mr. Bean has been involved in a car crash, but it wasn't in his mini, in fact it was in his secret Mclaren F1 car, which he only drives whilst disguised as Rowan Atkinson.
He was speeding along a country road in Cambridgeshire, UK, when his favourite Teddy Bear called Teddy, wanted a piece of the action, jumped on Bean's lap and grabbed the steering wheel.
They then crashed into the side of a tree, Teddy was not injured (he's made of wool), but Mr.Bean was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury.
The local police gave the following statement:
"Mr.Bean and Teddy are doing well, but unfortunately we will be prosecuting both of them, Mr.Bean for being totally reckless, Teddy was not belted in, and Teddy for driving without a licence!"
Mr.Bean also gave a press statement:
"I really love Teddy, but this time he really cocked up so I will be punishing him when I return home; he will have to sleep alone from now on!"
Ben Elton, creator of Mr.Bean, is very upset about the accident and has forbidden Mr.Bean to drive any other car apart from his Mini and when Teddy is in the car he must be strapped in otherwise they will both be replaced by a Black Adder (?).
