A new musical, based on the song 'Hole in my Bucket' is set to be revealed to a paying public in New York tomorrow.
'Holes in a Plastic Bucket' is set in a high rise flat, when the taps are broken, and the inhabitants only have a bucket to take water to all of the old people who live on the top floor. It sounds like it would be no problem, but obviously there is at least one hole in the bucket.
Spokesperson Charlie Bucket (no relation) told us: 'This is a feel good story about the spirit of man overcoming adversity, in this case it is an unreliable and broken receptacle for water'
She continued 'It is packed to the brim with pathos, pithy dialogue, catchy songs and strong characterisation, and with tickets costing as little as $50 it is a bargain for anyone looking for a fine night out of thought provoking drama'.
Critics have already pointed out holes in the plot, and the fact that the soundtrack consists of 'Raindrops keep falling on my head' and 'Singing in the Rain' and Paul McCartney's most famous song, 'We all stand together'.
