Legendary Canadian actress, Myrtle St John, 99, has shocked Hollywood with the news that she will star in the sexually-charged Lusting After Picasso, which is currently in pre-production.
The film, to be based on the stage production of the same name, has attracted considerable attention, but most media coverage has focused on St John's considerable age.
"I'm an actress," stated St John matter-of-factly in an exclusive interview. "I believe in the truth and message of this film."
And what does St John have to say about the numerous sex scenes in the film?
"I'm looking forward to playing Mary Ellen, warts and all."
The film will be shot on location in the US, Australia, Kenya and Spain, and is set for international release in early 2012.
