According to this week's Nealson Ratings for cable television, the 2011 MTV Movie Awards were beaten out by a live feed of someone's garbage disposal in Griffin, Ga. It seems that the popular movie awards show lacked the star power that it usually has had in years past.

An assistant producer for the show said, "We put hardly any effort into this years show; we basically allowed interns to oversee the whole project from lighting and set design to choosing of stage acts and joke writing. The opening monologue was actually written by a homeless guy that we found sleeping on a bench near sound stage 2."

"Our goal for next year's show is to basically allow a group of blind people run the complete production operation", said senior producer, Allen Jones. "No one at MTV really cares about anything anymore. I mean, look at the Jersey Shore - need I say more?"

MTV is a music video television channel that plays neither music or videos.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
