Louis Walsh is said to be furious that Simon Cowell is allowing the UK X-Factor to 'crumble' to pieces. He is furious over Cowell's lack of commitment to the UK show and his preoccupation with the US X-Factor.

Both Louis and Dannii are furious that Simon Cowell has not kept them 'informed' about what has been decided by the TV chiefs. The pair are irate that Cowell's favourite Cheryl is being kept 'updated' by the pop Svengali whilst they do not even know if they will have a job and whether the X-Factor will go ahead.

Louis and Dannii have been told to keep their diaries clear for the next couple of months and so are hoping that their contracts are in the post. Cowell and Cheryl are not expected to be judges on the UK show but Cowell has asked to be a judge via satellite link. However, an inside source said there is a fifty-fifty chance that Cowell will not agree to being a judge via satellite-link.

Walsh has said that if Simon Cowell does not come on to the UK X-Factor the whole show will disintegrate.

Another rumour which has been circulating is that Lionel Richie will be taking Simon Cowell's place on the show. However, Louis Walsh has had no contact with Cowell and no 'inside' information and does not even know if his two year contract with the X-Factor will be honoured.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
