Popular antique valuation and auction show Flog It! has become the latest target for the TV Repair Man.
The notorious vigilante is the sworn enemy of reality programmes and dayime TV schedules. He announced his agenda two weeks ago, identifying presenters, voiceover artists and production staff whom he regards as targets.
However, Flog It!, presented by women's favourite, Paul Martin, was not on his list... until now.
In a statement to EIF News & Features, TV Repairman said: "The Flog It! programme was previously untainted but that was before I saw an episode of the current series.
"Where seven items were previously sent to auction per programme, this has been reduced to six, with the empty time filled with fatuous so-called 'bloopers,' out-takes, previews and recapitulation.
"This will not do. This is not value for the viewer.
"Fortunately, the delightful Catherine Southon is still a feature.
"However, the producers of Flog It! have joined the list of sinners! Revert to the previous format or risk the wrath of TV Repair Man!"
