Movie news now, and in a marked departure from previous roles, Danny Dyer is expected to play a trash-talking, Cockerknee Geezer type in his latest film project. With the working title "Apples", after the Cockney rhyming slang "Apples and Pears" (stairs), it is rumored that it will be a British Gangster flick that will feature other big names of the genre - Vinnie Jones and Jason Stathem are also expected to star.

Dyer's agent, Aldo Cannelloni, said of the new film "Danny is very much an actor that relishes a challenge - He's not someone you can easily pigeon-hole! This is why he tries to do something different with every role. In his last film he chose to play an Essex wide-boy with criminal connections. In this new film, by contrast, Danny plays an East End hard man from the wrong side of the tracks who gets involved with a gang of felons."

Dyer is said to be excited by the new part and looking forward to portraying a character with such a wide emotional range. Shooting is due to start in the summer and Dyer says that he'll "cut anyone" who "says different."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
