HOLLYWOOD - Natalie Portman is quite aware of 'The Curse of The Best Actress Academy Award Winners.'
After winning the Best Actress Oscar at The 83rd Annual Academy Award Show, which took place in Hollywood's Kodak Theater, Portman, who won for her portrayal of Nina Sayers in The Black Swan spoke backstage with past winners Sandra Bullock and Hillary Swank.
Both past winners of the coveted award pointed out to Portman how their marriage soon ended up in divorce due to what has become known as 'That Dreaded Curse.'
Kate Winslet is another actress who has met the same marital fate upon winning the Oscar for 'Best Actress.'
Last year's winner Sandra Bullock took Natalie's hand and told her that luckily for her she is not married. Portman informed Bullock that she is engaged.
A reporter for Bedroom Pillow Talk, Summersetter Faxx, stated that upon hearing Portman's remark Ms. Bullock smiled graciously as she took Natalie's hand.
Bullock winked and she gave her a big kiss right on the mouth. Bullock simply walked off quietly shaking her head without saying anything else.
Hillary Swank also went up to Natalie and offered her congratulations and knowing that she is engaged to be married this summer suggested that perhaps her and her fiancee identified as Benjamin Millepied, a choreographer who worked on The Black Swan, should just live together and not even waste their time getting married.
Meanwhile Tequila Tallyho with The Left Coast Mirror Magazine noted that Miss Portman was backstage talking to co-host Anne Hathaway and was literally in tears over the dilemma that she now faces.
Natalie was overheard to have said to Hathaway that she has decided to call of the marriage which was to have taken place this summer.
LC2M is reporting that Natalie Portman's fiancee told her in no uncertain terms that he does not believe in curses. He then pointed out that he has already told all of his family, friends, neighbors, hair stylist, and pedicurist that he is marrying Natalie Portman in the summer, so she will be marrying him as planned even if he has to physically pick her up and carry her to the alter.
The national publication USA Sunup is reporting that Natalie Portman has made an appointment to talk to Dr. Phil regarding this tremendously stressful situation.
