Princess of pop Kylie Minogue is knitting socks in preparation for the arrival of a longed-for family.
Kylie has openly admitted that she would love to be a mum, now she is saying she is prepared to adopt or even use a surrogate mother to have a child.
She has serious doubts that following her treatment for breast cancer she would be able to conceive. And following the arrival of her sister Dannii's baby, she is apparently becoming increasingly broody.
An insider told us: "It's got to the stage where she spends all her spare time knitting - socks. Dozens of pairs of socks.
"There are pink ones for a girl and blue ones for a boy.
"She even knits away in the dressing room. She's got through skeins and skeins of wool - and we have to make sure that the results go everywhere with us!"
