Glamour puss and national treasure Cheryl Cole had her memory jogged as she picked up a gong at the Elle Style Awards last night.
Looking stunning in a red, full-length £3,000 Alexander McQueen gown with a plunging neckline, Cheryl arrived fashionably late at the annual shindig organised by the glossy style magazine.
The awards, at London's Great Connaught Rooms, also featured Harry Potter star Emma Watson, Fearne Cotton and all the great and the good in British celebdom.
After picking up her award for Best Music Act, Cheryl told us: "Why-aye, hen! What a torn-up, eh? Ah'd completely forgot aboot the music, lake!
"Ah thought ah were comin hea for me greyat fashion sense, or me work on the telly, lake. Ah'd completely forgot aboot me music. When wore the last time ah sang owt?
"What a nayce sorpraise. Ah suppose I must be worth it!"
