"American Idol" judge and former lead singer for Aerosmith has agreed to do a spread in Playgirl Magazine from reports out of Hollywood.
"I'm enjoying myself on the show and don't think this offer will hurt the show. After all, I have nothing to hide", he laughed.
Actually the longtime Rock Star says that he has had an exciting life but would not recommend it to anyone else.
"It all happened to me at one time and another and I have the scars to prove it. I also have the liver. It has shaped me into what I am today and I'm basically happy but it would have been better to have been happy without going through a lot of it.
In other words, Tyler says that you can be happy with your life without "Walking This Way" but to each his own drummer.
"There are entertainers out there now that are close to the edge and may be 22 years old. You do live and learn...but only if you live long enough to learn."
About the Playgirl news?
But Tyler had suddenly left to talk on his cellphone. So we called his former wife, Teresa Barrick.
"Steven in Playgirl? That's a hoot! No, it doesn't surprise me. I think Steven was beginning to feel his age a bit after falling off the stage during a concert. It hurt his pride as well as his body. So I guess when this offer came, he told himself, 'This will prove I'm not an old man!"
"Now THAT sounds just like Steven. What do I say about it? I guess I say "Dream On!"
