Los Angeles - (DUI Aftershocks): Riverside Sheriff's Department said today a 'bugged' vibrator - er...cell phone! - battery charger is thought to be behind the latest Lindsay Lohan spat with rehab staff.
The actress threw a tantrum at the Betty Ford Alky Clinic after claiming her 'pillow talk' is being taped.
The detox facility regularly weeds out suspicious calls to drug dealers and other undesirables and has gated Lohan ahead of a scheduled release.
The blonde actress apparently 'did a Naomi Campbell' - hitting a clinic detox nurse with a cell phone during one of her regular freakouts.
Rehab authorities immediately dialled 911 to report the fracas.
But Los Angeles County Probation Department officials sided with the actress following confirmation from the Sheriff's Department that the rehab's wiretap was illegal.
A statement released this afternoon said: "There is absolutely no truth in the rumor that the US Sheriff wants Lindsay Lohan charged with battery."
Lohan remains at the detox center despite completing her mandatory court-imposed 90-day sentence.
