A top ego expert fears for the sanity of Ronnie Spector, ex-wife of iconic-but-jailed record producer Phil Spector.
Apparently her ego has grown to such proportions that while skimming through Rolling Stone Keith Richards's autobiography she assumed references to drug taking with Ronnie referred to her.
She is reported as saying: "I was like, 'Keith! I never did drugs! What are you saying?
"I was so angry with him. I'm ready to call him and really cuss him out."
But as she read further, she realised the reference was to Keef's fellow Stone, Ronnie Wood!
Dr VPL Kasabian, a psyhologist at Cambridge specialising in ego issues, said: "This is disturbing... not much, really. I am rather busy. I mean, who is she again? Oh yes.
"The ego in this case does seem a little inflated. Perhaps the subject should be exposed to more literature involving other Ronnies."
Dr Kasabian suggested that Ms Spector read a biography of snooker star, Ronnie O'Sullivan and The Profession Of Violence, the biography of the Kray twins, Ronnie and Reggie.
He warned, however, that books about former TV comedy duo, The Two Ronnies, could make her dangerously psychotic.
