A drug smuggling tunnel was discovered today in Tijuana, it crossed from Mexico into America. The DEA was shocked and surprised when they found the tunnel was not only a tunnel, but there was a small city thriving there. There was a grocery store, motel and food trucks selling produce and tamales. All subterranean.
Pat Siles of the DEA stated, "this is the culmination of a years worth of work. We had no idea of the extent of use this tunnel received or the sheer scope and size".
The DEA got hip to this smuggling thoroughfare when they saw tractor trailers driving out of a hole in the ground one after another.
Two tons of ditch weed were confiscated when one of the big rigs was pulled over. It is estimated that 5 to 7 billion dollars worth of illegal drugs have been filtered into America through this drug highway. Don't know the quality of drugs that came through the tunnel but the tamales were great.
