Fred was panicked to find Howard had quit

On his radio broadcast yesterday, Howard Stern, announced he was into SiriusXM for another 5 year term. His staff blew out a collective sigh of relief at the news. It had been a highly publicized negotiation with swirling rumors running rampant across the net.

The speculation as to what Stern was going to do went from him broadcasting from his living room to such far out claims that he would be the premier show for the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Sal the Stock Broker, was punked when he was late for work and the entire staff led him to believe Howard was retiring. Sal broke down into tears, "What am I going to do? What about my kids? I should have saved", was Sal's response. Eventually, he was very relieved to find out it was all a goof.

Unfortunately a number of subscribers that were late to the broadcast also took the goof to heart, not realizing it was a bit. They flooded the SiriusXM switch board with cancellations. Howard's goof on Sal ended up costing SiriusXM nearly 500,000 subscribers. A SiriusXM spokesperson said, "we're sure they will all be back once the mix up is resolved".
