Elton John (the author refuses to call him Sir) gave a sell out concert in Naples, bella Italia last year and it seems that the EU financed the concert incorrectly because they thought the money was serving a good cause, promoting "gay rights" in Naples?
Now it seems the concert had nothing to do with "gays" apart from Elton and his dodgy fans that is.
Actually, the concert was organised to enhance the cultural development of Naples and this reason doesn't fall under the EU criteria for funding such events?
The EU are demanding the funds back from the organisors, the local Catholic church and the Vatican,(very poofy) and have vowed never to finance Elton John again unless he gives a charity concert in aid of, guess what, "gay rights" (not a problem for Elton, he loves being close to his genuine fans especially when they are behind him).
As for the poor, down trodden "gays" in Naples life goes on as usual, what a "bummer"!
