One of Britain's best-loved Piers, Morgan that is, has risen like a greasy phoenix from the ashes and re-opened to a "stampede" of visitors.
Officials said over 52,000 people and even some celebs, like Cheryl Cole, visited the talk show host in the first eight hours of re-opening.
Piers underwent a £39 million transformation and was due to be re-opened in July but was hit by several setbacks, a cold, a touch of man flue and the almost irreversible issue of being a smarmy git, which some insiders are saying is now a bit more under control, but will always blight him for the rest of our days.
