MISSOULA, Montana - Billy Ray Cyrus was in Montana participating in The 47th Annual Missoula Mountain Oyster Eating Contest, which he won in 2003 and 2008.
He was asked about all of the controversy concerning his daughter Miley's latest music video for her song "Who Owns My Heart."
Billy Ray grinned and said that he was not aware of any controversy. He was told that The Federated Parents Secular Council For Decent Decency had stated that the video was extremely sexualized and dealt more with an adult theme that would be better suited for someone like Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, or Tila Tequila.
Billy Ray put down his bottle of Jack Daniels and asked what part of the video were people complaining about. He was told that one part was the scene where Miley is shown lying in a bed covered with imported Japanese silk sheets and she is shown squirming around with two life-size inflatable Miley Cyrus dolls.
The elder Cyrus laughed and said that he was present when that scene was shot and he thought that it was the funniest thing he has ever seen Miley do since she was seven and she painted lipstick on her pet goldfish Moby Dicky.
Another scene that the FPSCDD found to be highly objectionable was the scene where Miley is at the beach and she builds a huge sandcastle. As the camera pans down on the castle, a smiling bikini-clad Miley is shown pointing to the sandcastles tower which just happens to resemble a diddly dipper (pecker).
Billy Ray laughed again and said that the FPSCDD folks are just trying to find something bad in something innocent. He said that the music video script clearly stated that the tower will be constructed to resemble a 16th century buccaneer cannon.
Cyrus ended the interview by saying that his daughter Miley's "Who Owns My Heart" video is a darn right nice video.
In a related story. Billy Ray Cyrus says that there is no truth to the rumor that he is planning on singing a duet with America's Got Talent's Prince Poppycock.
