Children's Hispanic TV character, Dora the Explorer, has said in a statement released today, that she will not pay wages claimed by her voice artist Caitlin Sanchez, because the latter's voice has broken.
Sanchez, 14, claims that she is owed more than $450,000 in fees due from reruns, DVDs, other products and promotional work.
Explorer, meanwhile, says that Sanchez' smashed voice now makes her "sound like a bloke".
Bilingual Dora has taught millions of US children basic Spanish phrases on her popular TV show, and she is the most prominent Hispanic TV character in the US today.
She told our Spoof entertainment correspondent Abel Rodrigo:
"She is making me sound like an hombre, amigo. Fuck dat sheet!"
